Centuries of winemaking on the peninsula resulted in some of the best wines in the world. It has become an integral part of the Croatian identity. You will enjoy a wine tasting with local delicacies served by Anto Grgurević himself. He will give you an insight on his way of life and explain his winemaking philosophy. We can also organize visits to other winemakers in the region so you could taste the diversity of wines Pelješac can offer.
The wine tasting consists of 10 different kinds of wine and all of them are made from autochthonous grape varieties. Apart from the white wines and rose you will try all variations of the Plavac mali grape variety, from the basic version to the magnificent Grand Cru and its unique and rare albino version – Sivi Plavac. For the desert, there is a family specialty – ‘mantala’, a grape must cake made from the must of Plavac mali.
