Zagreb, Ljubljana, Pula, Trieste
We will welcome you at the airport, and transfer you to your accommodation in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. After checking in at the hotel, you will have a guided tour of this charming city, which was proclaimed one of Europe’s greenest capitals. You will have the chance to explore many of the restaurants and bars located in the city center and relax after your trip.
The next day after exploring Ljubljana, you will head towards Bled. With its emerald-green lake, picture-postcard church on an islet, a medieval castle clinging to a rocky cliff and some of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps and the Karavanke as backdrops, Bled is Slovenia’s most popular resort. You will have the rest of the day to enjoy this romantic and fairy-tale place.
In the morning hours, you will head towards Postojnska Cave – the biggest and most beautiful cave system in Slovenia. The guided tour of the cave starts in a small train which will take you through a big part of this magnificent cave system, after which you will continue your tour on foot. After the tour, you will head towards Zagreb, where you will have the rest of the day free of activities.
You will spend your day enjoying Zagreb and experiencing the unique and easy way of life. On a private guided sightseeing tour, you will get to know its lovely streets, interesting traditions and charming restaurants that make it the perfect place for your vacation. We can also arrange some afternoon activities if you wish, or you can just take a walk through Maksimir, an 18th-century park which houses the Zagreb city ZOO or go for a ride on the funicular and experience the traditional market in the city center.
After check-out, you will head straight towards the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Sarajevo. After you check-in at the hotel, you will have a guided tour of the city and get to know its history. You will definitely enjoy the city’s curious architectural mixture and we definitely reccomend that you sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the antique alleys of Baščaršija, in the Old Town of Sarajevo.
After check out, you will head towards Mostar, where you will have a guided tour of the city center. After the tour and some free time at Mostar, you will head to the south of Croatia to one of its most famous cities – Dubrovnik. Your evening in Dubrovnik will be free of activities, so you can enjoy the romantic atmosphere of the city.
In the morning hours, you will have a guided tour of the city. The undeniable charm and beauty, that the city of Dubrovnik offers resides in its long and rich history. The city achieved a high level of development and wealth, particularly during the 15th and 16th centuries in which many churches of various architecture, monasteries, palaces, and fountains were built, and preserved until today, as you will learn during the tour. The rest of the day is free of activities.
After breakfast, you will head to Montenegro. On the way from Dubrovnik to the National Park Durmitor, you will explore the coastline of Montenegro. First, you will visit Kotor, a small but beautiful town where you will have a short guided tour, and the continue to Budva where you will have the rest of the day to explore it.
You will start your trip to Durmitor after breakfast and coffee. The first day can also include activities but it depends on the time of your arrival. Dinner will be organized in one of the local restaurants in the town of Žabljak located in the heart of the National Park.
In the morning hours, you will be transferred to the Tara bridge that was built during the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. First, you will go on a zip-line over the Tara canyon which is the biggest canyon in Europe. After the zip-line, you will start your rafting ride inside the canyon on the Tara river. Rafting lasts for around 2 hours, depending on the current condition of the river. Lunch is going to be organized after rafting. For dinner, you can visit some of the local restaurants in Žabljak.
Quad bike adventure starts in front of your hotel. There your guide is going to introduce you to your quad bike and teach you how to drive it. The whole tour can last up to 7 hours and you will explore the best parts of the National Park. During the tour, you will also have a chance to swim in some lakes of the park and hike to several mountain peaks. Lunch is going to be organized during the tour and the rest of the day is free of activities. The whole quad bike route can be modified depending on your interests and the level of difficulty.
In the morning hours, you will head for Orebić – a small town situated in the western part of the Pelješac peninsula, facing the island of Korčula. On your way to the peninsula, you will visit one of the oldest arboretums in Europe, Trsteno. The second stop is the city of Ston where you will option for lunch. After sightseeing the peninsula, you will end up a Family Farm Hrid that is overlooking the city of Orebić for dinner.
In the morning you will go to Korčula, located right across Orebić. After a walk through the Old Town of Korčula, you will set sail for the island of Mljet to visit its famous national park. The entire area of the park is exceptionally rich in wildlife, and home to numerous endemic and endangered species. The most visited attraction in the National Park is a Benedictine monastery built in the 12th century. You can also explore the beauties of the National Park by bike or kayak. In the evening hours, you will get off the boat in the small town of Orebić on the Pelješac peninsula.
This day is scheduled to be free of activities, so you can enjoy and relax on the beaches of Pelješac. On the other hand, if you would like to have an activity, it can easily be arranged by our team.
Pelješac is well known for its wines, and therefore you have to have at least one day dedicated to exploring different wineries, their wine cellars, and their wines. On this tour, you will go to two different wineries, but in between the visits, you will stop for lunch at a family farm and try the local delicacies of the region.
After you arrive and check in at the hotel, you will have a guided tour of the city. On the streets of Split, you can still feel the Dalmatian way of life as it once was. The story of the city is already 17 centuries old, dating back to the time when Roman Emperor Diocletian decided to build his own palace in which he would retire after stepping down from the imperial throne. During these 1700 years, the Palace slowly turned into a city that nowadays still holds the natural beauty and its cultural heritage from the Roman ages.
After breakfast, you will head on a boat which will take you to Hvar. Hvar is Croatia’s sunniest island and is a well-known party destination for jet-setters from all over the world. Its interior hides abandoned ancient hamlets, craggy peaks, vineyards and the lavender fields that the island is famous for. A beautiful place for a beautiful day. In the evening hours, you will return to Split.
In the morning hours, you will head towards Šibenik, one of the most naturally protected harbors on the Adriatic coast. Through a guided tour you will get to know its narrow winding streets, stone houses, ancient staircases and the remains of the city walls which give Šibenik a romantic Mediterranean atmosphere. As the oldest Croatian autochthonous town, it was first mentioned in 1066 during the reign of one of the most important Croatian kings, Krešimir IV. Numerous churches, monasteries, palaces, and four fortresses dote the city.
After breakfast in Šibenik, you will be transferred to the National Park Krka. The park boundaries stretch for 50 km along the upper and middle course of the Krka River, and the lower course of the Čikola River. With its seven travertine waterfalls and a total drop of 242m, the Krka River is a natural and karst phenomenon. The living world of Krka National Park is very rich and diverse, with numerous endemic, rare and threatened species. Visovac Island is one of the top attractions in the park and it is situated in the middle of a lake bearing the same name. A Franciscan Monastery and a Church are there since 1445. After the exploration of the National park, you will head back to Šibenik.
In the morning hours, we will take you to your boat that will transfer you to the Kornati National Park and the Telašćica Nature Park. The Kornati archipelago consists of 152 islands that are around 100 million years old in 1980, it was declared a national park. While cruising around the islands you will have lunch on the boat, and a few stops to explore the islands and enjoy the unscathed nature. In the evening hours, you will be transferred back to Šibenik, where you will have free time to explore the city.
This day is scheduled to be free of activities, so you can enjoy and relax and re-energize in beautiful Šibenik. On the other hand, if you would like to have an activity, it can easily be arranged by our team.
In the morning hours you will be transfered to the Plitvice Lakes National Park which was one of the first natural sites added to the UNESCO World Heritage register. On your way to the Plitvice Lakes NP, you will visit Rastoke, a small historic village known for its well-preserved mills and the picturesque little waterfalls along the Slunjčica River, which flows into the river Korana at this place. The park is world famous for its 16 turquoise lakes arranged in cascades and connected with magnificent waterfalls. It also has the largest waterfall in Croatia, with a height of 78 meters.
In the morning hours, you will head to Istria. After your check-in, you will visit Motovun where you will participate in a truffle hunt. The local guides will tell you everything there is to know about truffles, the tradition of truffle hunting, and their specialized truffle hunting dogs. You will also try various products made of truffles and enjoy a wonderful lunch in a special atmosphere. After the truffle hunt, you will have free time to explore the Istrian hinterland or the coast.
On this day, you will visit a local winemaker, and have a wine-tasting overlooking the vineyards. Also, you will have a guided tour of the winery and get to know the winemaking process. After the visit to the winery, you will be taken to a restaurant or a family farm to enjoy the Istrian cuisine. If you should wish to visit more winemakers we will gladly organize it so. The rest of the day will be free of activities, but of course, we will give you recommendations on what to do.
This day is scheduled to be free of activities, so you can explore beautiful Istria which is full of history, cultural heritage and gastronomical delights. On the other hand, if you would like to have an activity, it can easily be arranged by our team.
Your last day in Istria will be free of activities. You can use it to relax and enjoy, or you can spend it in a more active way. You can always choose some of our half day or full day trips to fill your itinerary or if you have an idea of your own, just tell us and we will make it happen!
