This travel package takes you to the most untouched area of Montenegro, National Park Durmitor. This breathtaking national park was formed by glaciers and is traversed by rivers and underground streams. Along the Tara river canyon, which has the deepest gorges in Europe, the dense pine forests are interspersed with clear lakes and harbor a wide range of endemic flora. Park is located in the mountain area on the Northern part of Montenegro.
hrough the guidance of our team and local guides, you will explore most of the National Park Durmitor and its surroundings. Quad bike adventure through the heart of the National Park Durmitor, Zip-line experience just next to the Tara bridge and rafting on Tara river are the activities included in the base package. The itinerary and the difficulty of the routes can be moderated depending on your requests and desires.

We will welcome you at the airport, and transfer you to your accommodation in the National Park Durmitor in the northern part of Montenegro. The closest airports are Podgorica and Tivat in Montenegro and Dubrovnik in Croatia. The first day can also include activities but it depends on the time of your arrival. Dinner is organized in one of the local restaurants in the town Žabljak located in the heart of the National Park.
In the morning hours, you will be transferred to the Tara bridge that was built during the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. First, you will go on a zip-line over the Tara canyon which is the biggest canyon in Europe. After the zip-line, you will start your rafting ride inside the canyon on the Tara river. Rafting lasts for around 2 hours, depending on the current condition of the river. Lunch is going to be organized after rafting. For dinner, you can visit some of the local restaurants in Žabljak.
Quad bike adventure starts in front of your hotel. There your guide is going to introduce you to your quad bike and teach you how to drive it. The whole tour can last up to 7 hours and you will explore the best parts of the National Park. During the tour, you will also have a chance to swim in some lakes of the park and hike to several mountain peaks. Lunch is going to be organized during the tour and the rest of the day is free of activities. The whole quad bike route can be modified depending on your interests and the level of difficulty.
Depending on the time of your departure, various activities can be organized, or you can have a day free of activities and just enjoy the untouched nature of the Durmitor National Park, Balkans hidden gem. This travel package can be extended with the Old City of Dubrovnik or Pelješac peninsula, both located close to the National Park Durmitor. On the way from National Park Durmitor to Dubrovnik, you will explore the coastline of Montenegro. First, you will visit Budva for a short coffee break and then you will explore the city of Kotor. In the evening hours, you will arrive to Dubrovnik, Croatia. The undeniable charm and beauty, that the city of Dubrovnik offers reside in its long and rich history. The city achieved a high level of development and wealth, particularly during the 15th and 16th centuries in which many churches of various architecture, monasteries, palaces, and fountains were built, and preserved until today. In the morning hours of your second day in Dubrovnik, we will guide you through the city and the rest of the day is free of activities.
In the morning hours, you will head for Orebić – a small town situated in the western part of the Pelješac peninsula, facing the island of Korčula. On your way to the peninsula, you will visit one of the oldest arboretums in Europe, Trsteno. The second stop is the city of Ston where you will option for lunch. After sightseeing the peninsula, you will end up a Family Farm Hrid that is overlooking the city of Orebić for dinner. On your second day on the peninsula, you will explore Marco Polo’s hometown in the morning hours. In the afternoon hours, you will visit 2 wineries on the peninsula. For dinner, you can choose between a restaurant or a family farm on the Pelješac peninsula.
