We will welcome you at the airport, and transfer you to your accommodation. After checking in, you will have a welcome lunch, after which you will go on a private guided sightseeing tour of Zagreb, where you will get to know its lovely streets, interesting traditions and charming restaurants that make it the perfect place for your vacation.
After breakfast and some free time in the city, you will participate in a culinary workshop which will be held in the heart of Zagreb. Before the start of the workshop, your mentor will take you to Dolac, a traditional market in the city center, as an introduction to the Croatian cuisine and its tradition. In the workshop, you will learn how to cook 3-4 traditional meals with the guidance of your mentor, and at the end, you will eat the meals which you have prepared and socialize with a glass of wine. The rest of the day will be free of activities.
After checking out of the hotel, we will continue our journey towards Istria, famous for its truffles and wine. Of course that on your way to the hotel we have planned a special activity. We will stop in the Istrian hinterland so you can participate in a truffle hunt! Your hosts will welcome you and serve all sorts of truffle products and dishes. After you learn everything there is about truffles, you will head to the forest with your hosts and their specialized truffle-hunting dogs, who will show you how it’s done. After the truffle hunt, you will be transferred to the hotel and the rest of the day will be free of activities.
After breakfast and coffee, you will head towards the heart of Istria where you will learn how to prepare traditional Istrian meals through an interactive cooking class with local chefs by the principals of Istrian cooking: the simplicity of preparation with fresh, seasonal and local ingredients. After the cooking class, you will have free time to explore the region.
You will have free time to enjoy until the afternoon when a visit to Cattunar winery is scheduled. The Cattunar family have one of the most interesting wine tastings in Istria, due to their unique vineyard which has 4 different types of soil. Each of the soil types creates a completely different wine from the same grape variety. After the wine tasting, we will go to a family farm in the Istrian hinterland where you will taste the wonderful home-made organic food prepared by the Tončić family. After lunch, you will go to another wine tasting at Stancija Meneghetti.
The only activity we have planned for you today is the visit to an olive oil farm. Istria is known for its production of extra virgin olive oil and the tradition of making it. Numerous awards on the international level have gone to Istrian olive oil producers, and we are taking you to find out how and why. This tour will be in the afternoon hours, so you can plan the rest of your day as you feel like it, because the most important thing is that you enjoy every moment.
After breakfast and check-out, you will head towards Plitvice Lakes – Croatia’s most famous national park. The park is world famous for its 16 turquoise lakes arranged in cascades and connected with magnificent waterfalls. It also has the largest waterfall in Croatia, with a height of 78 meters. In the afternoon hours, you will continue your journey to Šibenik, where you will check-in at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will have a guided tour of the city. Šibenik is one of the most naturally protected harbors on the Adriatic coast. Its narrow winding streets, stone houses, ancient staircases and the remains of the city walls give Šibenik a romantic Mediterranean atmosphere. As the oldest Croatian autochthonous town, it was first mentioned in 1066 during the reign of one of the most important Croatian kings, Krešimir IV. Numerous churches, monasteries, palaces, and four fortresses dote the city. After the tour, your day will be free of activities.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the National Park Krka. With its seven travertine waterfalls and a total drop of 242m, the Krka River is a natural and karst phenomenon. The living world of Krka National Park is very rich and diverse, with numerous endemic, rare and threatened species. Visovac Island is one of the top attractions in the park and it is situated in the middle of a lake bearing the same name. A Franciscan Monastery and a Church are there since 1445. After the exploration of the National park, you will head to Roca – the house of Dalmatian Prosciutto. There you will have dinner and enjoy the traditional meals of the Dalmatian region. After dinner, you will head back to Šibenik.
After breakfast, you will head towards Split. After your check in at the hotel, you can take a stroll through the city center and have a romantic dinner at one of its best restaurants. On the streets of Split, you can still feel the Dalmatian way of life as it once was. The story of the city is already 17 centuries old, dating back to the time when Roman Emperor Diocletian decided to build his own palace in which he would retire after stepping down from the imperial throne. During these 1700 years, the Palace slowly turned into a city that nowadays still holds the natural beauty and its cultural heritage from the Roman ages.
This day will be free of activities. You can relax, go for a swim, or just wander around and explore the city. If you would like an activity on this day, feel free to let us know so we can give you some suggestions on what to do and/or organize it if necessary.

After your check-in at the hotel, you will be taken to a Family Farm located above Orebić, where you will enjoy a traditional dinner with a spectacular view of Orebić and the surrounding islands.
In the morning hours, you will head towards Blaževo, where you will find one of the tastiest oysters in the world, first-class fish, bottarga (also called “Caviar of the South”) and a seabed sparkling wine cellar. Your host will be awaiting you with seafood specialties and a glass of wine. After a few words about the fish farm, the tour will move on to the boat.
